About Us

Patchwork Green is a ridge-top farm overlooking the beautiful Canoe Creek Valley several miles north of Decorah, Iowa. While Sara teaches and Erik plays in a band, they have been developing this family-scale vegetable business since moving to Decorah in 1997.

Our Products

We grow over 100 varieties of Certified Organic vegetables each season. Our specialties include garlic, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, and potatoes. Our produce is available through our CSA program, our online store, and to our wholesale partners.

Our Partners

As members of the Decorah community, we feel strongly committed to producing good food for our friends and neighbors here in Winneshiek County. We work closely with the Oneota Co-Op and many local restaurants to provide fresh, seasonal produce.

CSA

We offer both full and half CSA shares, delivered to your home!

Certified Organic

Our vegetables are certified organic! We follow a vigorous regimen of organic compost application, green manure cover cropping of fallow ground, crop rotation plans, and organic-approved pesticides and seed stock.
