Patchwork Green Farm
Market Shares

We love to share our fresh vegetables with all of our customers at the Winneshiek Farmers Market in downtown Decorah.  Starting in June, we attend every Saturday morning and Wednesday afternoon outdoor market through the end of October as well as the indoor Saturday markets through December.

Market Share CSA members purchase a vegetable share in the winter based on their shopping and eating needs: $150, $225 or $350.  We use this early-season income to purchase seeds, supplies and hire employees.  We are able to plan, plant and prep appropriate quantities of vegetables based on our members.

Market Share CSA members enjoy:

  1. BulletCash-free transactions at market.  Members record their market purchases on a simple slip, and we keep a running tally of your balance.  Balance statements are emailed monthly, and you can add to your balance at any point during the season.

  2. BulletConvenience - Unlike a traditional weekly CSA share, you can shop at our stand whenever it is most convenient for you.  No worries if you are out of town for a few weeks.  Making a big pot of soup for a crowd?  Stock up on ingredients.  Want to preserve a big batch of pesto or tomato soup?  Use your CSA balance to purchase in bulk.

  3. Bullete-Newsletter updates.  We send out an email once a week, listing vegetables that will be available at market, which ones we’re particularly excited about, preservation tips, seasonal recipes and farm news.

  4. BulletMember-only monthly bonus.  NEW IN 2017!  On the first week of each month, members can grab a free featured product: a pint of mixed cherry tomatoes, cut flowers, fresh basil….

  5. BulletFarm tours.  We invite and encourage members to visit our farm throughout the season.  In particular, members are welcome at annual farm tours and potlucks.

We appreciate our loyal customers, and strive to make your vegetable shopping easy, surprising, flavorful and cost-effective.  Thank you for supporting local farms and businesses!
